We provide advice and support for researchers who wish to publish in Diamond Open Access (DOA), independently of commercial publishers: as editorial board members, editorial teams, or authors of academic journals.

About Us

The OA Lab is a service of Digital Humanities at the University of Bern. Katharina Böhmer (director) and Alessandra Fedrigo (collaborator) played a key role in establishing the successful art history Diamond OA journal 21: Inquiries into Art, History, and the Visual as editors, are experts in the field of OA publishing for academic journals and specialists in digital image management. They are happy to share their in-depth editorial expertise and practical experience with everyone interested.
