Book Histories in the Digital Age
This special issue of Anglia addresses the wide-ranging transformations digitization and digitalization have created in the field of book history. Several decades after the birth of the Digital Humanities, this special issue’s intention is to take stock of the challenges, promises and achievements of digital editing of medieval manuscripts, early printed books, and all later textual formats. We invite both contributors specializing in digitization, but also those who support traditional publishing in order to allow exchange of approaches, views and ideas.
